Transport of digestate from AD plants
The Parish Council is aware of complaints from residents about the damage to roads and verges causing danger for cyclists and car drivers plus the loss of amenity. The recent Parish Council meeting was attended by representatives of the AD plants at Spaldington and Holme on Spalding Moor, they stated that they do not control the transport of the digestate but would speak to the company about the complaints. In the meantime if you wish to complain about the state of the roads please email East Riding of Yorkshire Council with specific site location and if possible a photo of the problem, address is

- Non-statutory public consultation closed at midnight on 30th Oct 2022. There is now much local discussion going on, both ‘for’ and ‘against’ this proposal. Your P.C is attending meetings on your behalf to gather information and clarification as discussions continue.
- Statutory public consultation is expected by Boom in May 2023 (to last aprox 6 weeks).
